Our Appledore Cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 5 people and has recently been refurbished to a high standard.

The cottage has far reaching sea and river views looking over the roof tops of the famously pretty 200 year old fishing cottages of Irsha Street in Appledore, North Devon.

The views from our Appledore Cottage stretch out across North Devon to Saunton Sands, Braunton Burrows, Crow point and Instow. They can be enjoyed from the rear decking, kitchen, living room and bedrooms.

Just a short stroll from the cottage and you are in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Appledore. The location of the cottage also provides easy access to surrounding North Devon where there is much to see and do, making our Appledore cottage the perfect choice for your holiday in North Devon.

Appledore and North Devon:

Our Appledore Cottage looks over the Irsha Streets roof tops, the multi coloured houses line the length of Appledore's Irsha Street. The street is protected under a conservation planning order, as almost all the houses are over 200 years old and situated in the middle is the famous Beaver Pub located on the sea wall.

A short stroll from the cottage to Appledore quayside and you will find numerous family pubs serving good food, shops, restaurants and art galleries, all close by. Enjoy the bygone village era and watch the fishing boats bring in their catch or take the 20 minute walk to Westward Ho!, with its two miles of golden sandy beach and Northam Burrows Country Park & Royal North Devon Golf Club.

Our Appledore Cottage is a great base from which to explore North Devon, where there is much to see and do. Popular attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Watermouth Castle and Dartington Crystal.

In the evenings you can relax at the cottage, on the enclosed decking with seating and amazing views, or enjoy a meal in one of the local Appledore pubs.

Appledore has many beaches nearby. Listed in proximity: Instow, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborourgh, Woolacombe to the north and Westward Ho!, Clovely, Hartland, Sandymouth, Widemouth, Bude. All are within 5-45 minutes’ drive of the cottage.
